How we work

Our Methodology

Every matter at Garuda Advocates follows a consistent framework, regardless of its complexity. We begin with a consultation to understand your situation and objectives. We then advise you on the most appropriate service, the likely process, and the realistic range of outcomes. We do not push clients towards more extensive — or more costly — engagements than their situation warrants.

Where mediation is suitable, we recommend it first. It is typically faster, less adversarial, and produces agreements that are more likely to hold over time. Where court proceedings are necessary, we approach them with thorough preparation and a clear understanding of the Bangkok Family Court's expectations and processes.

Throughout any engagement, you have a named point of contact at the firm. Status updates are provided at scheduled intervals. Changes to scope or timeline are communicated promptly, explained clearly, and agreed before any additional work proceeds.

Service 01

Family Mediation Session

A facilitated session, typically two to three hours in length, suited to families who would like a calm, structured conversation about a particular point of disagreement. The session is led by a counsel trained in family mediation. A written summary of any agreed terms is provided at the conclusion.
