These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the website at garudaad.pro and any services provided by Garuda Advocates ("the Firm", "we", "us"). By accessing this website or engaging our services, you accept these terms as they stand at the time of access. If you do not accept any part of these terms, please discontinue use of the website.
These terms are intended to be read alongside our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. Together they constitute the full statement of our obligations and yours when engaging with us online or in person.
2. Nature of This Website
This website is operated by Garuda Advocates for informational and enquiry purposes. Content published here is general in nature and does not constitute legal advice. No solicitor-client relationship is formed by visiting this website or submitting an enquiry form.
A formal engagement relationship is established only upon the Firm's written confirmation of instructions and the signing of an engagement letter. Until that point, any information shared with us is received in good faith but does not create a duty of care or professional obligation.
3. Permitted Use of This Website
You may access and use this website for lawful personal and informational purposes. You may not:

- Use this website in a manner that disrupts, damages, or impairs its availability or performance
- Submit false, misleading, or harmful information through any contact or enquiry form
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the website's infrastructure or connected systems
- Use automated tools to scrape, harvest, or extract data from this website
We reserve the right to restrict access to this website at any time without prior notice if we reasonably believe the above conditions are not being observed.
4. Engagement of Legal Services
When you engage Garuda Advocates to assist with a family legal matter, the following conditions apply to that engagement:
- Scope of work: The scope of each engagement is defined in writing at the outset. Additional work outside that scope will be discussed and agreed separately before being undertaken.
- Fees: Fees are as set out at the time of engagement. Service prices displayed on this website are indicative and may be confirmed or adjusted in your engagement letter based on the specific circumstances of your matter.
- Disbursements: Court filing fees, translation costs, and other out-of-pocket disbursements are charged at cost and are in addition to the service fees quoted.
- Payment terms: Invoices are payable within 14 days of issue unless otherwise agreed in writing. Delayed payment may, in exceptional circumstances, affect the continuation of work on your matter.
- Client obligations: You agree to provide timely, accurate information relevant to your matter and to communicate promptly with your advocate regarding any developments that may affect the conduct of proceedings.
5. Confidentiality and Professional Privilege
All information shared with the Firm in the context of an engagement is treated as confidential and, where applicable, subject to legal professional privilege. We will not disclose client information to any third party without your express consent, except where required by law, court order, or our professional regulatory obligations.
Enquiries submitted through our website prior to the establishment of an engagement are received in confidence, but we recommend that you avoid sharing sensitive personal information until a formal engagement has been confirmed.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Garuda Advocates' liability arising from any engagement or from use of this website is limited to the fees paid by the client for the specific service giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental losses.
This website is provided on an "as available" basis. We make reasonable efforts to ensure its accuracy and availability but do not warrant that it will be free from errors or interruptions. General information published here is not a substitute for professional legal advice tailored to your situation.
